Chesnaught is quite cool, it looks ferocious, but it also looks like it just wants a hug! It's no surprise that it's role is that of a wall, that spiny shell just screams wall!

Perhaps oddly for a wall, Chesnaught has a massive 6 weaknesses, which would lead you to believe he's awful. But in actuality, he's surprisingly effective. 5 of his 6 weaknesses are predominantly Special, and three of his resistances are physical. This means he performs quite well in the role of a physical wall, with his only massive weakness being flying. Although he's weak to poison, Sludge Bomb is the main poison move and bulletproof grants him an immunity to this.

The set listed works a little like Roserade, except it stays around a little longer. It uses leech seed and either spiny shield or synthesis to keep healthy, whilst using Spikes to benefit the rest of the team. Seed bomb stops him being complete taunt bait, but generally it tends to be more beneficial to switch out of a taunt.
