What was your first ever memory of the franchise which started you off as a fan?
Mine would have to be an early Christmas morning where I was given my first ever Pokémon game, played it all day and still remains my favourite out of the whole series =]
How about the rest of you?

Ruby was my first game - I was quite late starting the franchise xD
But when I picked it up I kinda didn't stop playing! I remember I picked Torchic as my starter, and got a Poochyena pretty quickly
And I used Groudon so much xD I think I managed to get it to level 100 (which in RSE wasn't easy >_>)

playing pearl when it just came out. i never was as big on sapphire back in the day, and played in quite infrequently. pearl was a different story completely xD

Sapphire was my first game, I only got it because my brother got it me because he wanted someone to trade with (he had Ruby). Its funny because if I had to pick a least favorite Pokemon game it'd be Sapphire ^_^' Sorry not sorry!
