But what's your favourite generation? Why? And your least favourite? And why?

My favourite is Gen III because I loved Hoenn as a region. The water routes - particularly dive routes - were fantastic, the double battle gym was cool. Fortree City was amazing, so was Sootopolis! And the pokemon are awesome (Camerupt, Sharpedo, Grumpig, Combusken (not Blaziken xD))
Least favourite is by far Gen V because I disliked a lot of the pokemon (but I did love Mienshao, Scolipede & Hydreigon) and the region was pretty boring too, with very few (if any) water routes. Also B/W2 came instead of a RS remake, so it can go and die in a hole xD

Gen I and III are my favourites
Gen IV is trash
Gen II is very good
Gen V was okay, only got it to keep with the PKMN.NET hype tbf. So glad there was no RS remakes though!

i and ii never played, never got my hands on a gbc tbh
iv was okay, couldve been better
v is... meh.

1. Gen 2 my first
2. Gen 6 the best
3. Gen 1 the most original
4. Gen 5 the one that had me hooked for the longest
5. Gen 3 better than gen 4 but still not fantastic
6. Gen 4 couldn't get into it, new pokes were rubbish... I still don't know my way around the region.

Gen 1: Too much bugs (clichés)
Gen 2: Haven't played
Gen 3: TOOO much water
Gen 4: Haven't played
Gen 5: Good overall but a little too linear
Gen 6: My Favorite Gen a little small on the new pokemon roster I have to say

Gen 1 will ALWAYS be my favorite, but I'm definitely not a Gen wonner because I love all the gens!  Gen 2 is a close second! It has my favorite starter ever in it :3 (Cyndaquil) I wasn't so fond of Gen 3 and I don't really know why, its just... I wasn't so fond of the game... but I did love the anime! Gen 4 was great! So many new cuties and Empoleon is my favorite water pokemon so thats cool :3 Gen 5 was also fabulous, It contains my favorite pokemon to date and i love everything about it!  Gen 6 wasn't ALL a disappointment, I mean I was disappointed by the lack of Pokemon and how short the gameplay was and how easy the Elite 4 was... but other than that i loved all the new features and I loved it |
